Chelios is tied with Gordie Howe for the most seasons played in the NHL, a star both on the offense and, especially, a defensive specialist. He is an NHL career leader in penalty minutes, holds the league record for career playoff games and was a two-time U.S. Olympian. His 26-year career included the Montreal Canadians, Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings and Atlanta Thrashers. Chelios retired in 2010 as a three-time Stanley Cup champion and was named to the NHL All-Star team 11 times. Chelios has been involved in several business ventures, including restaurants and bars. He has also dabbled in acting, appearing in several films and TV shows. On top of that, Chelios provides hockey analysis for NHL coverage on ESPN.
