The 6 Personal Finance Podcasts You Should Be Listening To

In this new age of media, podcasts are king. They’re entertaining, free, and a great source of information from people who actually (usually) know what they’re talking about.

I compiled a list of my favorite podcasts that are perfect for anyone interested in personal finance and looking to become more financially literate.

Bigger Pockets Money

Hosted by Scott Trench and Mindy Jensen, “Bigger Pockets Money” is an invaluable guide to investing with a focus on real estate. This show offers practical advice from expert guests and personal insights from Scott and Mindy’s own investing experience, making it a great resource for those interested in growing their wealth through real estate investing.

HerMoney with Jean Chatzky

Jean Chatzky is a household name from her work with NBC, but her podcast removes the TV “filter” and allows for candid conversations about money, especially as it relates to women. She is a relatable and informative host, putting her show on my Must Listen list.

The Personal Finance Show with Beau Humphreys

Broadcasting from Ontario, Canada, Beau Humphreys is about as sincere and humble a host as I’ve ever met. His story from gambling addiction and recovery to financial coaching is inspirational and his approach is intensely human. He makes it clear that it’s ok to fall down, as long as you don’t stay down.

Millennial to Millionaire

Host Paris Grant brings a unique voice to the millennial generation. He starts with the basics of practical financial advice, but then charts a course to build wealth over time by starting early.

Don’t Retire… Graduate!

You didn’t think I’d make a list of podcast recommendations and not include my own show, did you? Now in the late stages of season two, Don’t Retire… Graduate! helps listeners rethink the definition of retirement as a celebration of advancing into a new chapter, rather than marking the end of your productivity.
